Gunderup Put & Take is an idyllic fishing park that offers a lovely fishing area with around 8,000m² of clear fishing water surrounded by beautiful nature and quiet surroundings. The lake is located in scenic surroundings close to Gunderup and only a short drive from Aalborg. Fresh fish are continuously released, primarily rainbow trout, golden trout and brook trout, in sizes from 1kg to 8kg. The releases ensure varied fishing, where both beginners and experienced anglers can have a good experience.
History
Gunderup Put & Take has an exciting history dating back to earlier times when the area was used for gravel mining. It left a natural lake, which today has been transformed into a popular Put & Take fishing park. The old gravel pit area is now full of life and activities, where fishermen can enjoy the quiet surroundings and the scenic atmosphere. Small, cozy fishing grounds have been set up around the lake, giving visitors the opportunity to find their own little oasis where they can enjoy a relaxing day of fishing.
